# Yokewright

> Turn your own measurements and your swatch into a full written crochet sweater pattern, with a schematic and a clean print. Free, no sign up, runs in your browser.

Yokewright is a browser only, made-to-measure pattern maker for crochet sweaters. A crocheter types their own body measurements (chest, body length, shoulder width, arm length, upper arm, wrist, head), the ease they want, and their blocked swatch (stitches and rows over a measured width and height, in single, half double or double crochet, with the turning chain counted or not, and an optional stitch multiple). It works out a flat-panel drop-shoulder pullover: every stitch and row count, tapered or straight sleeves with the decreases spread so the edge follows a straight line, a boat or square front neck checked against the head measurement, the finished measurements worked back from the whole counts, a yarn estimate, a schematic and a printable pattern in US or UK terms, in inches or centimetres. It uses fixed arithmetic rules, no AI and no size charts. Measurements stay in the browser.

## What it is not

- Not affiliated: Yokewright is not affiliated with any yarn company, pattern publisher, crochet guild or standards body.
- Not a published design or a size chart: it uses only the measurements typed in.
- Fixed rules: the same numbers always give the same pattern.
- Suits adult and teen bodies. A neck that would leave under 2 cm of shoulder each side is refused; small children usually need a buttoned shoulder opening, which it does not write.
- Not professional advice: a crafting aid; the yarn amount is an estimate.
- Not an uploader: measurements are never sent anywhere; there is no server.
