Privacy: your measurements stay in your browser
How Yokewright handles your body measurements: they are worked into a pattern, saved and printed in your browser, and nothing you type is ever sent anywhere.
Last updated 4 October 2026
What you type
Body measurements are personal. Yokewright asks only for the numbers a pattern needs (chest, length, shoulders, arms, wrist, head), your swatch and your choices, and a name for each saved pattern that can be anything you like. It never asks who you are, and it has no field for your name, age, email or photo.
What stays on your device
Every count is worked out in your browser. There is no server side to this site: it is a set of static files. Nothing you type, save or print is transmitted anywhere.
Your saved patterns are written to your browser's own local storage, under keys beginning with madetomeasure and nowhere else (one of them is a short test that storage works, removed straight away). They belong to one browser on one device: they do not follow you to another computer, they are not backed up by us, and nobody else can read them. Clearing site data for this site removes them permanently. Use Save a backup file to keep a copy; that file is saved wherever you choose and is yours to keep or delete.
No accounts
There is no sign up, no sign in, no email capture and no password. Every page, including the pattern maker and the print, works without identifying yourself in any way.
What is collected
No account, no advertising identifiers, and nothing you enter. Standard web server logs kept by the static host may record the request for a page, its time and a network address, in the ordinary way any web server records a request.
Page counts
If page visit counting is switched on for this site, visits are counted through Cloudflare. The count sets no cookie, cannot follow you to another site, and records that a page was opened, never what you typed.
Payments
No paid plan is offered at present; if one is added, this page will describe it.
Typeface
Headings are set in Fraunces by Undercase Type, under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. The font file is served from this site, so no font service sees your visit. The licence sits beside it at /fonts/OFL.txt.
Cookies
Yokewright sets no cookies of its own and carries no advertising or cross site tracking scripts.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects what is collected, the change will appear on this page.

Questions about privacy go to socialreminderinfo@gmail.com. Since nothing is stored on a server, most requests are answered by telling you which local storage keys to clear.
